They Fight is an anthropological deep dive behind Shakespeare’s most famous moments of conflict.
Audiences will be lead on an exciting investigation through the historical context behind the fights depicted in Shakespeare’s works, the narrative beats leading to the cinematic conflicts, and the socioeconomic circumstances that have made them so gripping to watch for past and present audiences.
They Fight will bring Shakespeare’s fight scenes to life, through stage combat, dance, and an accessible execution of the text.

By offering free educational sword fighting classes on a range of dates, we aim to build skills, confidence, and creativity in our community while sharing the excitement of stage combat and Shakespeare. These classes are open to all and are part of Prism’s ongoing effort of inclusivity, learning, and joy through movement and performance.
