PRISM MOVEMENT THEATER

We are storytellers who create ensemble-based, physical productions that embody the intersection between movement and dance to represent our diverse community, offer educational opportunities, and empower all voices.

Free Sword Fighting Workshop + “They Fight” Audition

They Fight is a touring educational performance that brings Shakespeare’s greatest fights to life. In each show, performers break down the historical, economic, and anthropological contexts behind iconic battles in plays like Romeo and JulietJulius Caesar, and As You Like It. After exploring the stories and strategies behind these conflicts, the performers recreate the fights live, combining historical accuracy with thrilling stage action. We’re looking for talented actors, fight performers, and movement artists to join us in making these stories both educational and unforgettable.

The Audition will be held on 03/01/2026 at Dallas Children’s Theater, during the complimentary sword fighting workshop.

At Prism Movement Theater, we believe in making the arts accessible and inspiring the next generation of performers. By offering free educational sword fighting classes on a range of dates, we aim to build skills, confidence, and creativity in our community while sharing the excitement of stage combat and Shakespeare. These classes are open to all and are part of Prism’s ongoing effort of inclusivity, learning, and joy through movement and performance.

Classes will be held from 6-10pm. Please RSVP with the dates you plan to attend.
